Umhlali Preparatory School (UPS) marked its 100th year recently with a meaningful ceremony in the school hall and followed that up with a fun-filled family day on Saturday.Despite a bit of rain, parents, children and alumni came out in droves to celebrate together with everyone from the UPS family. UPS opened its doors back in 1918 to a mere 14 students and has grown with the Dolphin Coast to become one of the top government schools in KZN.
Sunday, February 11 marked the official birthday of the school, founded all the way back in 1918.
The bell has rung and class has begun! Today is officially the first day of school on the Dolphin Coast, and these little ones couldn’t be happier!
