Decomposed body found in Madundube

A decomposed body of a 56-year-old woman was recently found in a pit in Madundube, 20km from KwaDukuza Town. According to SAPS KwaDukuza Cluster spokesperson, Sibusiso Khuzwayo, It is unclear how she was killed.

“I can confirm that she was killed because there was blood in her house and a case of murder had been open,” said Khuzwayo.

Khuzwayo said the woman had been missing for days and police are still doing an investigation.

Four arrested for house break-in

Four men were arrested for breaking into a house of a KwaDukuza police officer on Gizenga Street in KwaDukuza last weekend.

The men arrived at the house on Saturday and stole all mechanical equipment and when they returned on Sunday, a neighbour who is also a police officer fired a shot which forced them to stay inside the house, until the police came to arrest them.

They were charged with theft and house breaking.
