Wanted man commits suicide in KwaDukuza

A man wanted for double murder and robberies in Gauteng, committed suicide in Melville yesterday (Wednesday).

According to KwaDukuza SAPS spokesperson constable Sibusiso Khuzwayo, the man committed these crimes in Johannesburg before moving to Melville near Stanger.

The police had been after him for some time as the suspect kept changing identities.

Investigations eventually led them to locating the man in Melville.

“When he noticed that the SAPS KwaDukuza task team had surrounded his shack, he shot himself in the head. An inquest docket has been opened,” said Khuzwayo.
