Friday, September 1

  • Join the annual spring celebration at The Quarter shopping centre in Ballito tonight from 5.30pm. Enjoy live music, great cuisine, a Fitch and Leedes gin bar, incredible prizes to the value of R10 000 and a kids zone for the little ones.   • Cupcakes for cancer. Although breakfast is long gone, you can still post your selfie for Cupcake for cancer day!

Saturday, September 2

  • Visit the Saturday Car Boot Sale in Ballito for locally made products, knick-knacks, pancakes and second hand items at great prices. Go to the open ground on the corner of Simbithi and Leonora Drive (next to the Ballito clinic). Call 083 780 1953 or email [email protected]

 

  • The Wave Wizards Surf Club sponsored by Lizzard and Hurricane Surf will be holding its next event at Bronze Beach, Umhlanga Rocks from 9am – 2pm. The Umhlanga based club welcomes surfers of all age groups from novices to masters.   • Don’t miss the Ballito Lifestyle Centre’s Foodies Market outside Zara’s Coffee Shop, from 8am to 12pm. The market supports local produce, focusing on providing fresh, organic and artisanal products.

 

  • Head down to Sugar Rush Park every Saturday for the Sugar Rush Market from 7.30-noon. Browse through fresh, home made, hand made, local and organically produced products to support our local growing and developing area. Contact Gill at [email protected]

 

  • Every Saturday morning Forest Hills German Shepherd Club Ballito holds dog training for all breeds at Townsend park, Ballito. Times are as follows: 8am advanced; 9.45am beginners. Contact Scott Farlam on 082 355 4636.

Sunday, September 3
