Alleged Zinkwazi housebreakers arrested

KwaDukuza detectives this week made a breakthrough when they arrested three men who were linked to a housebreaking case in the Zinkwazi area.

On New Year’s Day the victim opened a case of housebreaking and theft at KwaDukuza police station after three weed eaters and a harness to the value of R26 000 were stolen.

Detectives began their investigation that led to the arrest of the alleged robbers, aged 25 and 27 years old.

They will soon appear in the KwaDukuza Magistrate’s Court, facing housebreaking with intent to steal and theft.

KZN Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Bheki Langa praised the KwaDukuza detectives for the good work they did in making the arrests and recovering the stolen goods.

“These suspects will be profiled to ensure they are not wanted for other crimes in the province.

“I also appeal to the community not to buy any suspected stolen goods,” he said.
