The first-ever Fresha Festival is a free, fun family open-air theatre festival being staged on Durban North’s Beach Front which is sure to get you out of the post-holiday blues.

A late afternoon promenade procession will get you into the summer festival mood on Friday, January 20 and give you a taste of what is to come over the weekend.

The festival programme runs on Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22 from 12pm until 5pm, offering a full afternoon of diverse, family-friendly, free short shows.

Each day will culminate with a Sundowner Showcase under the especially erected beach bedouin tent on the Bay of Plenty Lawns at 5pm. These evening performances are charged on a pay-what-you-can basis.

Each production will have two 15 minute performances over the weekend.
