Mother’s Day movie treat

The Nu Metro Cinema at the Ballito Junction Mall was filled with hundreds of happy Crawford North Coast mothers for their Mother’s Day movie treat on Friday.

Principal Sally Anne Henegan said they believed a movie was a perfect and unique way to foster the bond between pupils and their mothers.

Luvenia Naidoo, Vihan Rama, Samantha Naidoo, Alera Naidoo and Natisha Soha.

The place was buzzing with the excitement of children as they were getting their popcorn, gearing up for an unusual morning.

Denise Arthur who is a teacher and parent at Crawford was over the moon and said it was a first time she would watch a movie during working hours.

“This is a very good thing, it actually forces us to try by all means to make time for our children even though we are always working,” said Arthur.

Sinegugu Mthembu said it was a very special day for she and her daughter Sandiselwe Mthembu.
