Thursday will mark the end of a nine week pre-season for the Dolphins rugby boys who have been building camaraderie improving skills and growing their hunger for the first game of the season.

To mark and appreciate the effort put in all by all the players a “jersey hand over ceremony” will take place for the first time in the club’s history on Thursday.

All supporters, sponsors and rugby enthusiasts are welcome to come down to the fields at Sugar Rush Park, at around 6.30pm, bring a deck chair and cooler box and watch the players go through their final preparations, followed by the announcing of the teams for this weekend and the jerseys being handed over.

The next game the Dolphins will play will be the following weekend, Saturday March 24 against the South Coast Warriors at home, thereafter they will enjoy a bye weekend before tackling the Hillcrest Villagers on April 7 at home.
