Murder suspect nabbed after two-year run

A 31-year-old man from Shaka’s Head wanted for murder and attempted murder has been arrested after being on the run for almost two years.

In a joint operation between Ballito security companies, KwaDukuza traffic officers and Umhlali SAPS, the arrest took place yesterday in Shaka’s Head after SAPS received a tip-off of the man’s whereabouts.

He had apparently been involved in a fight two years ago after he was asked to leave a party.

He is accused of stabbing and killing one person and for attempting to murder two others.
