Sharks XV take on Free State in Ballito this Saturday

Make your way to the Cambridge Field at Ashton College in Ballito tomorrow (Saturday) for an exciting Supersport Challenge Cup Game.

This game will see the Sharks XV vs Free State and promises to be an exciting day of rugby.

“We are extremely privileged to host this game, as this gives us the opportunity to bring rugby to the community,” said Mr Joe Erasmus, Managing Director of Ashton International Colleges.

This game will be open to the parents and students of Ashton International College as well as members of the community.

The game kicks off at 3pm and entrance is free.

“In addition the Ashton Debutantes and Squires will add to the festivities.  These young ambassadors will host a number of stalls to cater for food and beverages,” said Mrs Jeannie Habig, Marketing Manager of Ashton.

“The only requirement is that visitors wear either their Sharks Supporters Shirts or black and white.

“And for the kids, the ever friendly Sharkie will be here to entertain the crowds with a little bit of competition in the form of an Eagle.”

No alcoholic beverages or food will be allowed to be brought onto the campus, and in addition to the catering stations run by the Debutantes and Squires, the Ashtonian Sports Café will also be open.

“Ashton’s Debutante and Squire programme offers our students the opportunity to raise funds which is donated to their nominated charities, which include the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (65 roses) North Coast Courier Orphan Fund and Autism.”

For more information call Jeannie Habig at Ashton during office hours n 032 946 2096.
