This is the shack where the two men apparently raped the two young school girls.

Two school pupils of Diniphuzo Primary School in Nkobongo, near Shakaskraal were raped last Thursday and two men have been arrested in connection with the case.

The Courier was at the school when one of the school pupils related the incident to a few residents.

The young girl, aged 10, said it was around lunch time when she and her friend returned their spoons to the kitchen and saw a man was standing behind the kitchen.

“He called us and took us to his shack outside the school, instructed us to undress and he and his friend raped us. He was carrying a knife. He said if we tell anyone he will kill us,” said the little girl.

Later that day her mother noticed that there was something amiss and asked her daughter what was wrong. The girl told her mother what had happened and the matter was reported to the community leaders.

This morning, residents protested outside the school accusing the department of education for not providing a security guard claiming that had a security guard been at the school, this terrible rape of the two young girls would have been prevented.

The angry community then demolished the shack.
