A business at MGA House in Wimble Close, Ballito (opposite Hirsch’s) was robbed in the early hours of Thursday morning by four armed men driving a white Mercedes Benz.

“The men approached the security guard, pretending to be interested in letting a shop in the complex,” said Captain Yogendran Maharaj from the Umhlali SAPS.

The guard reportedly told the men to come back later when the businesses are open, at which point one of the men pointed a gun at him and made their way into an electronics shop.

Maharaj said the men got away with flat screen televisions, a microwave oven, a computer and cushions.

A case of business robbery is being investigated.
